27 robbers were killed in Zamfara

The Nigerian military says it has killed 27 robbers on the border with Zamfara and Katsina states.
In the wake of Thursday’s raid by the Special Rapporteur, the security forces killed and destroyed some of their bases after receiving personal information, the army said in a statement on its Twitter account.
The force added that after receiving intelligence reports, it was clear that the helicopter and air raid had reached their destination linking the towns of Nahuta and Doumborou.
The federal government, under the leadership of President Muhammmadu, says on April 20, 47 people were reported killed by gunmen in Katsina.
Zamfara, Katsina and Sokoto states have been hit by recent spate of attacks and this has led to the death of many people and their families.
