Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) says 182 new cases have been confirmed and there are 8,915 infected people in the country.
The NCDC released a statement on Thursday night saying 91 people have been infected, but five have are dead.
In Lagos, the worst affected state in Nigeria, it has been reported that 111 people have been infected with coronavirus.
More than 4,100 people have been infected so far in Lagos.
Meanwhile, the NCDC says 16 people have been infected again in the Nigerian capital of Abuja.
NCDC said on Wednesday that two people have been infected in Kogi state for the first time on Wednesday, May 27.
Some contend that the pandemic has hit the state for too long, and the lack of testing has led to a long process before it can be confirmed. But the state governor Yahaya Bello disputes the claim saying there are no infected persons in the state.
Officially, It is now only one state in Nigeria that have not recorded any case in Nigeria which is Cross River. However, some say testing needs to be carried out to confirm if the state is truly free from the virus.
NCDC also said that ten people have been idfected in Akwa Ibom state, while 8 more people have been infected in Oyo.
In the states of Kaduna and Delta, six people have reportedly been infected.
