Niger and Cameroon to Reopen Schools Today

Published

on

Niger and Cameroon reopened schools on Monday, after weeks of closure.

Authorities in both countries say a group of students will be allowed to return to schools after relaxing restrictions on the lockdown.

In Niger, a return to school will allow students to take classes for up to 45 days before the exam.

Niger’s Minister of Intelligence, Mallam Yahouza Sadissou Madobi, said that students had to be careful and take precautionary measures before they could be allowed to enter their classes.

In Cameroon, only secondary schools will be allowed to reopen.
