More cases of covid19 have been reported in Cameroon after schools reopened on June 1.

An additional 254 people were infected with the virus on Monday and another 188 people were infected Tuesday.

The government says it has taken steps to protect students from infection including cleaning the classroom, sharing facial hair and putting face masks on them.

Graduates of high school and their university colleges sit far and wide in each other’s classes.

Education authorities have threatened to punish all teachers who refused to return to work after some expressed concern over the spread of coronavirus.

So far, 6,585 people have been confirmed to be infected from covid19 in Cameroon and 200 people have died.
