The presidency has allegedly accused the Indigenous People of Biafra of creating International campaigns by slandering the Federal Government of Nigeria, alleging the killing and oppression of Christians in Nigeria with financial backing $85,000 a month.

Garba Shehu, Senior Special Adviser to the president on media and publicity, disclosed this on Sunday, denounced IPOB claims that Christians in Nigeria are being oppressed.

Shehu noted that the presidency wishes to reveal to the international community that the campaign being carried out by IPOB and the things they say against the Nigerian government are baseless and false and they should be ignored.

Nnamdi Kanu pretends to show interest in the welfare of Christians in Nigeria all of which is a hoax.

Regarding the case of Independence, Nnamdi Kanu thinks that the Nigerian Government is autocratic, he thinks that the government is killing Christians and oppressing minorities and therefore, think that the only solution is to create a separate country called Biafra.

The Federal Government has warned Nigerians and the International community to be beware of their malicious campaign, of which based on the information available, it shows that the organization is receiving and spending $85,000 monthly since October 2019.
