Kogi attack: Governor Yahaya Bello gives 10 million naira to bank robbery attack victims

Governor Yahaya Bello has given 10 million naira for the burial of victims that was killed in last week’s robbery attack at Isanlu, in Kogi State.

This was disclosed by the state Deputy Governor, Edward Onoja, via Twitter.

He stated that Governor Bello, has given the sum of 10 million naira to finance the burial right of those that were slain during the attack which claim the lives of 10 people.

It was reported that seven security personnel of First Bank, Nigeria, who were on duty on that day of the attack were all killed with some passersby.

The Inspector General of Police, Muhammed Adamu who criticized the attack, directed a ‘ Full scale manhunt’ for the criminals, who also ransacked the Divisional Police Headquarters in Isanlu, of which they killed some police officers who were on duty.

It is understood that, the Inspector General of Police has tasked a team of competent detectives from the Intelligence response team, the special tactical squad and Federal SARS to Kogi state to guarantee that the criminals are arrested and prosecuted.
