The former National Chairman of the APC, John Odigie Oyegun, said the party will regret it’s decision to disqualify Governor Godwin Obaseki from the party’s primary election.
Odigie Oyegun said that the outcome was planned to install a puppet that will give people free access to loot the Edo treasury.
This was a written statement signed by his media adviser, Chief Ray Morphy, in Abuja, on Friday.
Part of the statement reads: “Although not surprising, disqualification clearly shows that APC has internally murdered democracy. APC is a political party we established based on the principles of fair competition and conscience.
“I dare say that if you do not reverse his disqualification, APC will suffer terrible consequences in Edo state.”
“In fact, Oshiomhole is indeed a person guilty of anti-party activity, not Obaseki. Oshiomhole is a person who violates the Constitution, not Obaseki. I hope that Oshiomhole will not become an APC undertaker”
