Imo state house of Assembly confirms 13 of it’s Lawmakers with Coronavirus

The spokesperson of the Imo State House of Assembly Chinedu Iwuala on Tuesday 23rd June, 2020 confirms the status of thirteen of its lawmakers who have been infected with COVID 19. He said samples of all the lawmakers were collected for the COVID 19 test which thirteen returned positive, this move was necessitated after a member of the house contracted the virus. This brings the total number of infected lawmakers in the state to 14.

The Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC) has since given an update on the number of COVID 19 patients in Imo state to stand at 243 cases.
