2020 Law School Exams – Five Badged First Class

According to Premium Times, the Council of Legal Education has released the result of its January 2020 final Bar Examinations.

The Director-General of the Council, Prof. Isa Ciroma made this known in a statement released on Sunday 5th July 2020 in Abuja, Ciroma who expressed satisfaction with the result while giving the breakdown of the result says, out of the 2,515 students that sat for the exams, 5 came out with First Class, 77 with Second Class Upper, 633 with Second Class Lower division, 1,067 got pass mark, 82 got a conditional pass, 632 failed the exams and 17 persons were absent while two results were withheld.

Giving the analyses of the result in percentages Mr. Ciroma said 0.2% made First Class, 3.06% Second Class Upper, 25.17% made Second  Class Lower while 42.42% Passed, 3.26% graduated with Conditional Pass, 25.12% Failed, 0.7% were absent and 0.8% results were withheld.

Ciroma added that the date for Call to Bar Ceremony for all successful students will be communicated when the time is ripe.
