The Minister of State for Education, Emeka Nwajiuba, announced on Monday that the West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) is set to begin in the month of August.
The Education Minister made the announcement at a press briefing of the Presidential Task Force on Covid19 in Abuja.
He said the date WAEC exams is scheduled to begin and end on the 4th of August to the 5th of September. He said PTF Chairman last week announced that facilities will be made available for states who would want their student to go on revision classes.
The minister said the purpose was for the whole month from now till the end , so that those who are ready to organise their revision classes can do so.
Also, he said they together with their representatives in WAEC have done all they can, saying that the date was made known to them in the afternoon and exams will start on the 4th of August and end on the 5th of September.
