Bitcoin scammers hacks accounts of prominent figures and companies

There have been a recent development involving an unknown Bitcoin scammers is alleged to have hacked into the personal accounts of Bill Gates, Elon Musk, Joe Biden, Warren Buffett, Kanye West, Michael Bloomberg, Apple, Uber , Jeff Bezos and other prominent figures and companies.

In a similar development, Twitter Support issued a statement saying, “We are aware of a security incident impacting accounts on Twitter. We are investigating and taking steps to fix it. We will update everyone shortly.

You may be unable to Tweet or reset your password while we review and address this incident.

We’re continuing to limit the ability to Tweet, reset your password, and some other account functionalities while we look into this. Thanks for your patience.”

This recent development has exposed another weakness as regards to cyber security but companies are currently taking steps to beef up their cyber security in order to avoid future incident of this magnitude.
