The Premier League and EFL have agreed to open the summer transfer window which will begin from July 27 to October 5.
However, the date is subject to the approval FIFA. Base on the meeting held with the EFL, it has resolved that there will be a domestic window which will last from October 5 to October 16 at 5pm as its deadline.
Also it was stated that during this period, Premier League clubs will not be able to carryout transfer activities within themselves but they are allowed to trade with EFL clubs.
This means that EFL clubs are given a fortnight to transact transfer business with Premier League clubs.
Also this will give Premier League clubs to conduct the majority of its transfer activities before UEFA’s October 6 deadline for Champions League and Europa League registrations.
It was stated that a number of European leagues have all agreed their summer window will be shut on October 5.
