The chairman of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) in Nigeria is in a dilemma as he faces a commission of inquiry into alleged corruption by his agency.
Today is the fourth day of a session of the House of Representatives while investigating some of the commission’s finances.

It took about an hour for Prof. Kemembradikumo Pondei interrogated before it was later revealed that he was not in a trance in the chair he was drawing as reported by the Nigerian media.
A video circulating on social media shows how Prof. Pondie was wearing a blue shirt with white stripes draped over the side of his left arm while in front of the committee.
People spotted him and rushed to his aid, sparking an uproar in the chamber.

In a leaked video, a man is seen trying to open Pondei’s mouth while others try to pull him out.

People suspect that he died of a stroke. He was escorted out of the meeting room while the committee took a break.

The committee is now in session after a break.
