Zulum assists returning Nigerian refugees from Niger, rebuilds their lives

Hundreds of Nigerian refugees seeking refuge in Niger Republic as a result of Boko Haram attacks have begun returning to their homes in Mobar Local Government Area of ​​Borno State.

Refugees who have found refuge in various parts of the Republic of Niger have spent more than 5 years fleeing for their lives.

Borno State Governor Babagana Umara Zulum met with some of the 674 displaced people in Damasak, providing them with food and cash to rebuild their lives, while inspecting the construction of 1,000 houses by the government.

Zulum also called on the military commander in charge of the area to help enable people to return to their farms for agricultural purposes.
