Early Life

Arthur Eze was born in November 1948 un Ukpo village in Dunukofia Local government area, Anambra State, Nigeria.

His brother is a traditional ruler in Ukpo village, for this reason, he is always referred to as Prince Arthur.

Arthur attended St. Augustin Secondary School, Nkwere in Imo state in 1970. After his secondary education, he went to Califonia State University at Long Beach to study Mechanical and Chemical Engineering from 1974 to 1978. He is married with kids, of which one his children, Onyeka Eze is the founder and the President of Price Osisioma Foundation.

Arthur Eze Started Atlas Oranto Petroleum in 1991. Oranto has more than 22 oil and gas licenses in 12 countries around Africa.

Arthur, have various Assets in Nigeria, Equatorial Guinea, Senegal, Sudan, Uganda, and in other African countries.
Up to date, the company is still the largest holder of oil exploration blocks in Africa.

He was also the founder of Triax Airlines in 1992 after which Nigeria deregulate airlines. The airline operated in Enugu until it stopped operation in the yeat 2000.

Arthur Eze and Politics

Prince Arthur has donated funds to the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) with almost $100 million to support politicians in Anambra state. This made most prominent Politicians always call him “the Godfather” as he was seen as an authority in political matters in southeast Nigeria. Although Arthus still has another political party he donated funds as well.
