The United States has said it expects Sudan to resume ties with Israel, according to reports from Sudan.

It was reported that the US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo’s support for Sudan’s new transitional government is an indication that the United States will remove Sudan from the list of countries supporting terrorism.

As the United States intervenes in the mediation between Israel and the United Arab Emirates, it will also lead the mediation between it and Sudan.

It will also mediate between Israel and Bahrain and Oman, Israel’s defence minister confirmed on Sunday.

“According to the agreement between Israel and the United Arab Emirates, there are also other Gulf states and other Muslim countries to reach an agreement with Israel,” said Eli Cohen, Israel’s intelligence minister.

The United States is led the negotiation that led to an historic agreement between the United Arab Emirates and Israel where on Thursday, President Trump announced an agreement between the two countries to lift the ban on telecommunication network between them.

Previously, a person in the United Arab Emirates could not call someone in Israel.
Israeli Communications Minister Yoaz Hendel praised the United Arab Emirates’ move to lift sanctions, and said the two countries would benefit economically.

In an agreement signed between the two countries, they agreed on an issue related to conducting research on Covid19.
