International Flights sets to Resume as Nigerians React Differently to the news by the Aviation Minister

According to the aviation minister hadi sirika the international flights is set to resume on the 29 of August 2020,he made this statement recently in Abuja at the briefing of the presidential task force on covid 19.

He added that as a result of the pandemic Nigerians are used to the social distancing, wearing of mask, and checking of temperature this will not be an issue, because it will continue to be so for safety measures.

Furthermore, he said that the resumption of the international airport will be similar to that of the domestic flight resumption and it is set to commence on Saturday next week at the murtala Muhammed international airport in Lagos and nnamdi azikiwe international airport in Abuja.

Some new Nigerians have gone on social media to express there dissatisfaction that the government have not really done enough in trying to reduce the number of cases recently, while some have expressed joy and excitement that it will not only them visit there loved ones business can as we resume.

Hadi sirika thanked Nigerians for their patience during the time the ban for the international flights was enforced, and that four flight will be allowed in Lagos and Abuja daily, he added that it is the task force decision and not the aviation ministry under the leadership of the secretary to the Government of the federation who is the chairman of the PTF.

He promised Nigerians that the protocol, process and procedures will be announced in due course.
