Premier League 2020/21 season fixtures to be announced on Thursday



The 2020/2021 Premier League season fixtures will be announced at 9am on Thursday, August 20.

Premier League to begin on September 12

The re-arranged Premier League season will kick off fro Saturday September 12, 2020 and end on Sunday May 23, 2021. A full fixtures list will be published on the Tropics Nigeria website tomorrow Thursday morning.

Other dates for Cup Competitions
Next season’s Champions League group stage will begin on October 20, which will also be the return of the Europa League group stage.

Liverpool will Play Arsenal in the FA Community Shield

Also, the Community Shield will take place on Saturday August 29, at Wembley which will feature Premier League Champions Liverpool play against F.A Cup winners Arsenal.

The first four rounds of the Carabao Cup is scheduled to start in September, with Premier League clubs joining at round two on the 15th and 16th of September and those who are playing in European competition will join up in round 3.

Furthermore, FA Cup replays have been scrapped and the FA Cup third round will begin on January 9 2021.

Euro 2020 is now scheduled to start from June 11 to July 11, 2021 with the 12 original host cities confirmed as venues for the rescheduled competition.
