Armed robbers attacked a man and his wife in Suleja

Armed robbers attacked the compound of Mr. Muazu Jibrin in Kwankwashe, Suleja LGA, around 1am.

The wife, Mrs Aisha Jibrin who is 7 months pregnant disclosed to Tropics Nigeria about their ordeal during the robbery attack.
She said the armed robbers who were 2 in number, some how jumped over their fence just after her husband returned late from work.

She said the armed robbers were able to walk into their sitting room because the door to the sitting room was left open at the time.

She further added that when the robbers came into their house they demanded the husband to give them the money he kept in the house or he will be killed. But her husband said he didn’t have any money at home to give the robbers and as a result one of the robbers shot her husband on his leg.

She said that she cried and pleaded with the robbers to spare her husband as they did not have any cash at home. She also said as soon as the robbers heard the siren of a police hilux approaching their street, they quickly left the house.

Mrs Jibrin said after the robbers ran away she went out to cry for help from neighbours who all came to her husband’s aid and was quickly taken to Suleja General Hospital where he is currently treated from his gun shot wound.
