OSINT on the supposed hacker disclose that Ihebuzor is a senior web developer at a tech company in Benin City.
In response to Ihebuzor’s claim people have suggested that the bank should carryout a vulnerability disclosure program or bug program so that external sources can find these vulnerabilities and report them before any hacker discover them and use them for their own gain.
Also Access Bank responded to the claim in a statement it issued, saying, “Criminals have posted pages purporting to contain customer account information. We’ve alerted law enforcement agencies and ask that you ignore the post. There is no threat to your account balances. Pls. continue to follow security protocol by never sharing your account details.”
