As the Nigeria police recruitment physical screenings begin on 24th August 2020 to 6th September 2020.
All applicants who applied for the Nigeria police recruitment 2020 are expected to go to their various state capitals for the physical and credential screening.
The Police Training School Ogida Benin City, Edo State began their physical and credential screening from Akoko Edo and Egor Local Governments on Monday 24th August 2020.
On 28th August 2020 Etsako East and Igueben Local Governments were physically screened.
The physical and credential screening was scheduled from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm, in which the candidates are supposed to be at the venue before the scheduled time.
At 6:30 am, some of the candidates were at the Baracks dressing into their required recruitment wears (White shorts, T-shirt, and Canvas).
At 7:15 am most of the candidates were done dressing into their wears, the candidates who were done dressing into their various wears moved into the barrack, those of them which their credentials were not photocopied proceeded to the cyber café to make their photocopies.
At 9:15 am the candidates were asked to queue according to their Local Governments, Etsako East came first, while Igueben awaits their turn.
Etsako East began its physical and credential screening immediately after the queuing.
All candidates were instructed to put on their face mask, as anyone without a face mask will not be screened.
The candidates from Etsako East Local Government proceeded to the first stage of the screening, by checking their height, Female officers checked the female candidates, while the male officers checked the male candidates.
After which they proceeded to the officer checking the National Identity Number, Body structure, Eyes, etc.
The Superintendent of Police (SP) checked the candidate’s credentials e.g Guarantor’s Input, School Certificates, etc.
The candidates moved to the final stage, which the Commandant of the Police Training School, Ogida Benin City, Edo State crosscheck all what has been done, spoke Edo dialect to the candidate to be sure of their indigene status.
Igueben Local Government started its physical and credential screening at 11:10 am.
At the beginning of the Igueben Local Government screening, one of the candidate’s phone got missing (Tecno Camon 11 pro). Some police officers were sent to the Barack gate to stop some of the candidates going home, in search of the phone.
