Patrick Beverley was dismissed after the defeat of the Clippers in their second game against the Nuggets on Saturday night. LA-Guard was sent off after two technical faults with 1:04 to 1:04 in the fourth quarter of the tournament.
Beverley discussed too much time with the staff after being called for two personal fouls in quick succession. Referee James Capers expelled Beverley with successive technical faults.

Jamal Murray from Denver pocketed the two free technical throws and put the nuggets in the lead by 10 points. They won the game 110-101.
Beverley was very frustrated after being called to the first staff to challenge Clippers Coach Doc Rivers. Beverley even grabbed Rivers’ arm to get his attention. The rivers didn’t recognize Beverley.
The expulsion led to occasional Twitter comments about Beverley and Rivers.
The second playoff series of the LA-Denver Western Conference is now tied at 1-1. The third game will be played on Monday in the Orlando bubble.
