Reno Omokri, a former advisor to the president, scourged Nigerian youths on Sunday for drawing attention to the eviction of the Big Brother Naija show’s roommates.
Omokri said that poverty in Nigeria would be reduced if young people invested more in rice than in the eviction of BBNaija’s roommates.
The former advisor to the president said this in a tweet on Sunday.
“The price of rice has increased by 60% since July when #BBNaija started. Many young people have earned millions by buying rice in Kebbi and Jigawa and selling it in Lagos and Port Harcourt. But all you can boast at this time is that you are up to date on BBN!
“They are so focused on the people who are displaced from #BBNaija. If only you would concentrate so much on eradicating poverty from your life.
“For two months you have put your life on hold to focus on BBN. Others have used this time to banish poverty from their lives,” he twittered.
