Liverpool looks set to make their successful third signing of the the transfer window, with Diogo Jota ready to sign a 5 year contract after agreeing personal terms for an initial fee of £41 million pounds which could rise to £45 million depending on how well Liverpool fare in the league and Champions League.
Also it was reported that Liverpool youngster, Ki-Jan Hoever will be going to Wolves in a deal worth £13.5 million. With £9 million guaranteed and £4.5 million in ad ons.
Diogo Jota will become the fourth most expensive player in the history of Liverpool just behind the likes of Virgil van Dijk, Allison Becker and Naby Keita.
Jota is a player who is said to have pace, good work rate and the ability to play in a number of positions. He expected to provide competition for the Liverpool front three of Salah, Mane and Firmino.

Sky Sport News football analyst, Kaveh Solhekol said, “Diogo Jota wasn’t involved in Wolves’ game last night against Stoke, now we know it’s because he’s on his way to Liverpool.
“Jurgen Klopp has been looking for some competition for his front three and has decided to go for Jota. Liverpool were also interested in Watford’s Ismaila Sarr, but Jota is Klopp’s first choice.
“Klopp believes he has the required versatility because he can play anywhere along the front line and that will put some pressure on Salah, Firmino and Mane.”
