As the portal for registering potential beneficiaries of the Survival Fund will open on Monday, the federal government has published the timetable for registering categories of companies.
In a statement issued in Abuja on Sunday by the Project Implementation Office, it said that the portal, which opens at 10 pm, will have educational institutions as the first category of beneficiaries to register.
“Nigerians interested in the payroll support program should note that the registration page will be open from 22:00 on Monday, September 21, 2020.
“To ensure a smooth registration process, the Project Implementation Office (PIO) has designed a registration plan.
“Registration for the Wage Support Program will begin at educational institutions on Monday and will be completed by the hospitality industry companies on Friday, September 25, from 12 noon.
“The portal will also be open to other categories of small businesses from 12 noon on Monday, September 28, 2020,” the statement said.
The office has therefore advised all interested parties to take note of the calendar and also to register for the wage promotion initiative at http://survivalfundapplication.com

The Nigeria News Agency (NAN) reports that the Survival Fund is a conditional grant designed to help vulnerable micro and small businesses meet their wage obligations and maintain jobs in MSMEs after the shock of the COVID 19 pandemic.
It is estimated that the program is expected to save at least 1.3 million jobs nationwide while reaching an average of 35,000 people per state.
