Bello Matawalle

Alhaji Sani Abdullahi Wamban Shinkafi, the APGA candidate for the governorship of Zamfara State in the 2019 general elections, has strongly called on the people of Zamfara State to take action against the EFCC and ICPC. Bribes and kickbacks on the 37 billion naira scam involving the people of Zamfara State and the staff of former governor, Honorable Abdulaziz Yari, Wamban Shinkafi, Alhaji Sani Abdullahi, made this known at a press conference in Gusau, the capital of Zamfara State last Thursday.

Sani Abdullahi stated that this was the 23rd time he had written a complaint to the EFCC against the previous administration under former Governor Abdulaziz Yari, but the EFCC had refused to investigate my allegations. Wamban Shinkafi said, that now it is clear that the Zamfara State government owes money to the federal government for the federal government’s road projects.

The former governor has sent his office bearers to the governor’s office to sign and receive the 37 billion naira without them. Zamfara State residents, not Zamfara State employees, do not have a position to provide the funds, Wamban said.

The gubernatorial candidate called on the EFCC and ICPC to immediately investigate the N37 billion scam or take it to court and the failure to investigate former governor Abdulaziz Yari, who is a member of the ruling APC, is unfair. and the authorities have not done justice to the people of Zamfara State, as their rights have been denied to some minorities. In this regard, we call on President Muhammadu Buhari to assist the people of Zamfara State in this N37 billion scam, because he is just, does not oppress, and does not like oppressors.
