Ben Chilwell scored and gave an assist on his Premier League debut for Chelsea

Chelsea’s Summer signing, Ben Chilwell, scored a goal and gave an assist on his Premier League debut for Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.

Chilwell marked his 100th appearance in the Premier League by shooting in at the back post after Mamadou Sakho’s horrendous clearance.

In the game Ben Chilwell also gave an assist through an excellent cross which gave Chelsea’s Kurt Zouma the opportunity to head in Chelsea’s second goal in the 66th minute, before Jorginho slotted home two penalty in the space if four minutes to seal victory for the blues.

Chelsea’s manager, Frank Lampard, also gave a league debut to new goal keeper Edouard Mendy, who registered his first clean of the season.

With this victory, Chelsea now temporary sit in the top four while Crystal Palace move to eight position on the log.
