Two persons charged with the murder of a young girl after forcing her to jump on a trampoline as punishment

In Texas USA, two persons, a man and a woman have both been charged for murder after they forced a girl to continue jumping on a trampoline under intense heat as corporal punishment which later led to her demise.

The Texas police released a statement on Thursday, October 15, saying that the young girl died as a result of dehydration on August 29.

Daniel Schwarz, 44, and Ashley Schwarz, 34, were both charged and arrested on Monday October 12. They were then taken into custody at the Sector County Detention Centre with bonds set at $500,000 each.

Meanwhile, the police did not state the relationship between the man and the woman or to the girl.

During a police investigation, it was discovered that the duo forced the young girl to jump on a trampoline “without stopping for an extended period of time,” and prevented her from taking breakfast or even drink water. The temperature of the trampoline was said to have been 110 degrees Fahrenheit, while the ground was about 150 degrees Fahrenheit.

The police department got the final autopsy report for the girl on October 8. In was stated in the autopsy report that the girl died as a result of dehydration and her demise was regarded to be a homicide. The investigation into the case is still on.
