At least up to seven people have been killed after there was an explosion in a Madarasa (school) located in Peshawar city, Pakistan according to police statement.
An officer at the scene mentioned that children were among those dead in he blast.
Also, dozens of others were injured in the blast and no terrorist group have claimed responsibility yet. However, the Pakistani Police have launched an investigation into the incident.
The city of Peshawar which is close to the Afgan border have seen a spike during the Taliban insurgency in recent years.
One of the worst violence took place six years ago after gunmen stormed a schools l and killed more than 150 people in the process of which many are children.
The bomb blast took place around 8:30 local time and up to 60 people were said to be in class.
An eyewitness said that he saw a man walk into the building with a bag of explosives just before the blast.
