This move follows a wave of boycott of French goods in the middle east follow French President Macron’s speech on Islam in relation to the gruesome murder of Samuel Part, a French school teacher who used a caricature of the Prophet Muhammad in teaching about tolerance in one of his classes.

Turkey’s Communications Director Fahrettin Altun on French President Macron’s anti-Islam rhetoric: “He is promoting anti-Islam sentiments for political purpose, using tactics used by fascists against Jews in Europe, we need to call out figures showing hostility against Islam.

“Islamic separatism is farce”, Muslims have lived together in Europe, Mediterranean. Macron attacks Erdogan because Turkish President confronts his racist and colonialist mindset.

“Macron is a voice of Islamophobia today, he might utter anti-Semitic statements tomorrow. Muslims won’t follow Macron’s hatred and division and Turkey condemns killing of French teacher in strongest terms.”
