The Nigeria Police Force (NPF) says six of its officers have been killed and 38 others injured in clashes in Lagos State over EndSARS protests.
Lagos State Police Commissioner Hakeem Odumosu made the announcement at a press conference.
He said the officers killed included Yard Edward, Olayinka Erinfolami, Adegbenro Aderibigbe and Abejide Abiodun and two others.
Violence erupted in Lagos State after hoodlums wreaked havoc in the state, burning and destroying government buildings, prompting days of curfews.
