Following a complaint lodged with the police regarding a series of sexually suggestive photographs by the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) the Nigerian Police Force (NPF) has ordered Rahama Sadau ‘s arrest and investigation.

According to BBC, in contrast to other media accounts, the police were unable to apprehend Rahama, but strong sources suggest that she was attempting to set up a team of her lawyers to take her to the police station.

Inspector general of police Mohammed Adamu issued the orders following the sending of an accusation of Rahama’s insult to the Prophet by the human rights militant Alhaji Lawal Mohammed Gusau to the Inspector General of the Police.

Alhaji Lawal said that the acts of Rahama can lead to abusive conduct, as Muslim clerics and youth are already threatening to take action against her, in his petition to the General Inspector.

He also advised the Inspector General to take account of Nigeria ‘s inability to get into a crisis further, as it tries to rebound from ENDSARS unrest.

Apparently Alhaji Lawal sent the letter to the Inspector General of Police (IGP) immediately and directed the Kaduna State Police Commissioner to act quickly to make sure that the incident didn’t lead to an occurrence. The DCP Idowu Owohunwa letters state protection and civil unrest.

Earlier this week, Rahama Sadau posted on the ground of her pictures a series of pictures that show her body that caused someone to talk ill of the Prophet ( PBUH).

The actress, however, came out later and claimed she never made such offensive comments, and she went on to create a video of herself criing and excusing Muslims and anyone who felt insulted by her images.
