I don’t want to be kidnapped again, Falae cries out over herdsmen attacks on his farm

The former Secretary to the Government of the Federation, SGF, Chief Olu Falae has raised an alarm over the fixed assaults on his farm by Fulani herdsmen.

Falae, an elder statesman in addition to Afenifere stalwart mentioned the invasion of his farm at Ilado in Akure North Local Government Area of the state by the herdsmen has occurred over 4 instances up to now weeks.

In a letter addressed to the Commander of the Ondo State Security Network, often known as Amotekun Corps, Adetunji Adeleye, Falae requested that the incident of September 21, 2015, when he was kidnapped in his farm not repeat itself.

According to the letter, the incidents had been reported to the Chairman Meyetti Allah within the state however that didn’t deter the herdsmen from
destroying some sections of the huge farm with about 4 employees injured within the assault.

The letter learn “In the previous couple of weeks, Fulani herdsmen got here into my maize farm twice to eat up and trample massive periods of the farm.

“I reported the incidents to Alh. Bello. Chairman Meyetti Allah for Ondo State, nothing has occurred. In the previous couple of days, they’ve gone to assault my citrus farm by stealing harvested oranges and destroying what they might not carry away.

“The police on safety obligation on the farm had been despatched to drive them away. But they’ve been coming again each evening to assault my employees in our camp, breaking their door and carting away all their belongings!

“Please let Amotekun save us and our livelihood. They kidnapped me on 21st September 2015; they should not be allowed to do it again.”
