Hon. Herman Hembe defects from APGA to the APC

Honourable Herman Hembe, a member of the Nigerian House of Representatives, has defected from the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).

The Vandeikya / Konshisha constituency MP from Benue State announced his defection on Tuesday.

Hon. Herman Hembe defects from APGA to the APC

Herman Hembe, 45, is a former chairman of the Board of Directors of Michael Imodu NILS.

He was first elected to parliament in 2007 and then re-elected in 2011 before later returning in 2019 under the banner of the APGA party.

The Supreme Court expelled him from parliament in 2017 after ruling that he had not won an election in the APC and ordered the swearing-in of Dorathy Mato to replace him.
