Buhari has approved 44 billion for the construction of roads in Abuja
The Minister of Housing and Housing, Babatunda Fashola, said his ministry was working with the Federal Road Maintenance agency, (FERMA) to ensure that the work was carried out properly.
The Nigerian Cabinet, under the leadership of President Muhammadu Buhari, has approved the release of more than N44 billion for the construction of roads in Abuja.
The project, which will be carried out under the auspices of the FCT administration and the ministry of works and housing, includes improving the supply of drinking water, as well as providing roads in parts of the city.
The Nations quoted Nigerian Information Minister Lai Muhammad as saying that N3,630,221,349 billion had been approved for the projects.
