A mother and her child were knocked down by a police van whilst they were pursuing some suspected yahoo boys in a hot chase in Warri, Delta State capital.
According to a report by Theinfogh.com, the mother and her infant child died on the spot at the Petroleum Training Institute (PTI) Junction.

This led to an outrage at the area as angry mob set the police van on fire and residents have sent a warning to the police authority to bring the police officers responsible for the death of the woman to book.
