Two men have nabbed after their suspected involvement in a burglary attack.
These two were nabbed by some security operatives at the University of Calabar and per reports, these two men stole electrical appliances including pressing irons and lamp holders at the students’ hostel.
Their activities were uncovered after stop-and-search of all vehicles entering the campus and those going out as it was part of measures to tighten the security of the institution.
Reports also revealed that these suspected robbers were part of workers hired for the ongoing renovation work in the hostel.
Upon their arrest, they confessed that they stole the items from the hostel after the close of work and they have been handed over to the police as they await their prosecution.
