The number of COVID-19 cases in Nigeria is still soaring as over 1,000 new cases are being recorded every day.
In its recent update, the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) stated that a whooping 1,588 new cases of the deadly disease have been recorded.
The update was made via the official Twitter handle of the agency which reads;
