Award-winning Nigerian songstress, Simi has reacted to the arrest of some #OccupyLekkiTollGate protesters.

The musician reacted to this development in a recent social media post on her verified social media handle on Twitter.

According to the sensation musician, she used to be so hopeful for Nigeria, but now, just driving on the streets gives her anxiety.

She added that seeing police officers with guns gives me anxiety. Her post reads;

“I used to be so hopeful for Nigeria, but now, just driving on the streets gives me anxiety. Seeing police officers with guns gives me anxiety. Someone suddenly walking up to me gives me anxiety. Hate it here.”

In another post, the beautiful mother of one wrote;

“How can unarmed, people who only want to NOT die intimidate you so much. Make it make sense.”
