Marwa appoints new commander for NDLEA Imo Zone

The Chairman National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), Mohammed Buba Marwa has appointed an Assistant Commander General of Narcotics (ACGN), Sumaila Ethan as the new Zonal Commander in-charge of Imo Zone.

The appointment was contained in a statement issued to newsmen in Owerri on Friday by the Deputy Zonal Commander, Imo Zone, Aloysius Nworisa.

The new Zonal Commander who replaces Bar. Akpara will oversee the affairs of the agency in three states: Imo, Abia and Anambra.

ACGN Akpara on his part was redeployed to the Agency’s Academy in Jos, Plateau State.

Before his redeployment to Jos, Akpara served as NDLEA Zonal Commander for Imo for about one year and five months.
