The Emir of Bauchi, Alhaji Rilwani Sulaiman Adamu, has led thousands of Muslim faithful in special prayer, seeking Allah’s intervention for abundant rain in the emirate and the state.
The prayer was held at the central Eid ground on Tuesday.
DAILY POST reports that the special prayer commenced at the Juma’a mosque in Gwallaga, Bauchi, by 8 am, as well as in every Izalah Eid ground across the state capital.
The leadership of the JIBWIS Islamic sect in the state had urged its members across the state to participate in the special prayers for rainfall.
Garba Hassan, the leader of JIBWIS in Bauchi State, directed that all leaders across the LGAs mobilise their members to participate in the prayers until their objectives are met.
