PANDEF calls for support for newly appointed NDDC board

The Pan Niger Delta Forum has asked people of the region to shun actions that would undermine the smooth running of the Niger Delta Development Commission.

The National Publicity Secretary of PANDEF, Ken Robinson in a statement made available to journalists also advised aggrieved persons in the region to support the board of the NDDC to work in the best interest of the region.

The apex socio-cultural body of the Niger Delta region reiterated its commitment to the promotion of peace, unity, and sustainable development in the country.

In the statement, PANDEF also advised the presidency and the NDDC management to avoid what it described as “disturbing incidents” that create avenues for critics to undermine the authority of the commission.

The socio-cultural body of the Niger Delta noted that the group is pleased with the appointment of members of the board of NDDC.
